We are excited to announce that Cereals & Grains 20 Online will be a fully virtual event. Live and prerecorded meeting content will broadcast during the three-week span from October 25 through November 13. We will continue with our meeting theme “Connecting Grain Science with Global Sustainability,” and provide the same valuable technical information via the new format. Registered attendees will have access to the online meeting content both when it broadcasts and on demand through December 1, 2020.

We understand that not being able to meet in person may come as a disappointment to some, but, with your health and safety in mind, we are looking forward to the opportunity to connect online with cereals & grains professionals from all over the world who wouldn’t otherwise be able to join us in person.

Our new online format will still allow you access to the high-quality symposia, poster presentations, technical sessions, sponsors, and exhibitors that you’ve come to expect from our Cereals & Grains annual meetings. Virtual networking events and one-on-one appointments will ensure that your Cereals & Grains 20 experience will allow you to connect with peers and thought leaders from throughout the industry.

We appreciate the patience you’ve shown during the delay in the opening of meeting registration. We're happy to announce that registration will open on August 19 with details regarding our online programming schedule and new ways you can participate. As you prepare for registration to open, please visit our Registration FAQ for answers to common questions about the meeting. Abstract submission will reopen (August 18 - September 18) to accept late-breaking research and accommodate for those who were unable to submit previously.

Thank you again for your understanding as our planning team has worked to shift the format of this event with full consideration of the rapidly changing government, travel, and health guidelines. We look forward to seeing you online in October and November as we come together to explore how grain science can contribute to greater global sustainability!

The meeting theme is "Connecting Grain Science with Global Sustainability" and the meeting will be focused on three hot issues facing our field.
