We're thrilled to announce that the 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference is happening November 12–13, 2025, at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Building on the technical focus of our inaugural event, we are excited to dive deeper into the methods of analysis, science, and innovations shaping the future of cereals and grains through the meeting scope, "Research and Innovation in Methods and Processes to Optimize Finished Products.” With a focus on AACC Approved Methods of Analysis and our dedicated technical committees, attendees can expect cutting-edge research, in-depth discussions, and expert insights tailored for professionals seeking to enhance their technical expertise.

    The 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference scope is “Research and Innovation in Methods and Processes to Optimize Finished Products.” ​We are seeking abstracts for oral and poster presentations featuring emerging research and innovation in methods-based content in the following categories that reflect the latest advancements and challenges in optimizing finished grain-based products.

    Submission Form Instructions

    Please review the Guideline for Preparing Abstracts before beginning your abstract submission. To begin your submission, you will be asked to log in with your Cereals & Grains Association username and password.

    Proposals must include the following:

    Title

    • Use a short and concise title that indicates the content of the abstract. The title is limited to 25 words, 200 characters.

    Abstract

    • Focus Area, select from list
    • Keywords, select from list
    • Presentation Type
      • Oral or Poster
    • Opt-in for inclusion in the Student Association Best Paper Competition
      • Only student presenters are eligible to be considered for the Best Paper Competition.
    • Abstract (up to 400 words)
      • See Guideline for Preparing Abstracts guide for further details on submitting a successful proposal.

    Authors

    • Create the list of the presenting author and any co-authors for this submission
    • You are required to designate one Presenting Author. The Presenting Author will be required to register for the meeting and present at the required presentation times.

    Terms and Conditions

    If the abstract is accepted, I agree to the following:

    • The designated presenting author will present the abstract at Cereals & Grains – Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference, on the assigned date, and will register and pay the registration fee by the date indicated in the acceptance email.
    • This is an original work and the abstract has not been previously published. OR, if this work was presented elsewhere, the abstract submitted here to Cereals & Grains represents further progression of the previously published research.
    • I and any contributing authors, as sole proprietors of the abstract, agree to transfer copyright of the abstract to Cereals & Grains Association. OR, I am a Federal Employee and my work is in the public domain, and the copyright transfer does not apply. If your work is protected by “© His Majesty the King in Right of Canada,” please add that copyright statement at the end of your abstract. Abstracts will be posted online prior to the event dates.

    Room Rate: $119/night for single/double occupancy rooms, exclusive of taxes and fees.

    Reservation Policies

    To ensure accommodation for all attendees, a maximum of 2 hotel rooms per name can be reserved. Anyone holding a reservation inside the Cereals & Grains room block needs to be registered to attend the 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference by October 20, 2025.

    Cancellations and/or modifications of existing reservations must be done directly with the hotel in accordance with the policies and deadlines listed on the individual reservation.

    Hotel Scam Warning

    We are aware of companies pretending to be the "official" Cereals & Grains 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference housing company, offering special non-refundable rates at meeting hotels, and requesting credit card information. There is NO "official" housing company for the 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference; therefore, NO company is authorized to solicit directly by telephone or email for hotel bookings or special discounts. We encourage attendees to book their room directly via the link above to receive the conference's special group rate. Please email the Registration Desk if you have any questions or concerns.


    Attendees From Outside the United States

    If you require a visa to attend the 2025 Chemistry, Quality, and Technology Conference, do not wait until you receive notification that your abstract submission has been accepted before applying for a visa. If your abstract presents new information and follows the requirements and acceptance criteria, it will most likely be accepted or accepted with revisions in poster or oral format.

    Customized visa invitation letters can only be issued to confirmed registrants including those who have paid the meeting registration fees), have submitted an abstract, or are otherwise presenting. When you register for the meeting, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to auto-generate a customized visa invitation letter. If you are unable to register early enough to begin the visa process and have submitted an abstract, please complete the invitation letter request form. Invitation letters generated using the request form are identical to the letters created when registering, however they are manually created and may take up to 5 business days to be processed.
