About
The Protein Division within Cereals & Grains Association was formed in 1994 for members who have an interest in cereal proteins and oprovides a forum for scientists, engineers and technologists interested in all phases of protein chemistry as it affects the understanding, development and utilization of cereal protein products. Areas of interest include cereal proteins, their chemistry, their nutritive and biological properties and their development for food and industrial uses.

The Cereals & Grains Association Walter Bushuk Graduate Research Award in Cereal Protein Chemistry for Ph.D. Students was presented for outstanding contributions in basic and/or applied research in cereal protein chemistry. The award recognized research relevant to the broad aims of Cereals & Grains Association.
