                Association of Bound Beta-Amylase with Protein Bodies in Barley.

                Association of bound beta-amylase activity with the protein bodies of barley has been detected by immunochemical analysis. The enzyme was released from its bound state with beta-mercaptoethanol. The free beta-amylases of barley and the bound enzyme associated with the protein bodies have the same antegenic structure, as shown by double diffusion.
