XIII ICC Cereal and Bread Congress Cerworld 21st

In this article, Concha Collar and Christina Rosell report on the Cerworld 21st/13th Annual ICC Cereal and Bread Congress entitled, "Cereals in the 21st Century: Present and Future" held in the Meliá Castilla Hotel in Madrid, Spain, June 14–18, 2008. The event represented one of the most prestigious international events in the cereal world. This momentous gathering, which takes place once every four years, offers a neutral and fertile international open forum for discussion of the latest key topics in cereal science and technology. Moreover, the congress has been the setting for international debate on topics regarding cereals and cereal-based products, providing a forum for professionals from academia, industry, government, and research institutes.
