Tate & Lyle conducted custom market research in 2008 to discover consumer attitudes and perceptions in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. The research uncovered three things: regardless of geographic location, consumers are thinking about healthier eating and are looking to fiber for its digestive health, weight management, and immunity defense benefits; reading labels is a growing healthy habit; and fiber in children’s products are appealing.
