    What are the dates of the meeting?​

    Cereals & Grains 21: A Series on Food Evolution will take place over three separate event dates this year. Save the dates to attend some or all of our meeting events on June 24, November 17, and November 18.

  • Registration Questions

    When will registration open for Cereals & Grains 21?

    Registration is now open! Rates and other important registration information are now posted on the meet​ing website. You can register for the full series (and save 20%) or register for an individual event(s) in the series. ​There is an option for everyone!

    ​What is the cancellation/refund policy for Cereals & Grains 21?

    Cancellations MUST be made in writing and received by Cereals & Grains Association by​ the dates below: 

    Series Registration: May 28, 2021
    Ensuring Quality and Safety in the Grain Industry: May 28, 2021
    Grains Can Meet the Growing List of Demands of the Environmental and Health-Conscious Consumer: October 22, 2021
    New Innovation Strategies to Meet Food Security, Environmental and Market Needs: October 22, 2021

    Cancellations received by these dates are subject to a $50 processi​​ng fee. Registration cancellations received after these dates are NOT subject to a refund​. You may transfer your registration to another member of your organization. By registering for this meeting, you are agreeing to the cancellation and refund terms and conditions.

    During registration, all registrants must agree to the terms and conditions set forth in Cereals & Grains Association's Privacy Policy. Read the full terms and conditions here​.​​

  • Program/Presenter Questions

    When will I know if my submitted abstract has been accepted?

    The deadline to submit an abstract for the 2nd and 3rd events in the meeting series is Thursday, June 10, 2021. Oral abstracts will be presented during the November 17th and November 18th event dates. ePosters will only be presented at the November 18th event. Once the abstract submission period closes, the program team will review all submissions and notifications will go out to authors around late-July.


    Do I need to be registered for the meeting to present my abstract?

    Yes. All presenters (both oral and ePoster) MUST register in order to present their accepted abstract. The abstract presenter registration deadline is different depending on which event the abstract is slotted for. Failure to register by these dates will result in the abstract being withdrawn from the meeting.

    How will posters look in the virtual event?

    Posters for the November 18th event will be ePosters. ​ePoster presenters and registered attendees will have the opportunity to interact with each other directly through our new meeting platform. More information on ePosters (format and upload instructions) will come directly from Cereals & Grains Association Headquarters via email in the coming weeks.

    Where can I learn more about the virtual program?

    Preliminary program information is posted here. We'll post the full schedule as sessions become more defined and abstracts get slotted. Bookmark this page​ and check back often!

  • Technology Questions

    How will I access the virtual meeting?

    Cereals & Grains Association is working hard to deve​lop our new meeting platform and more information will be shared with registrants in the coming months. All registrants will get access to the meeting platform in adv​ance of the first event in the series to get familiar with the platform, view and add sessions to your schedule, build out your attendee profile, etc.


    What video conferencing software will the LIVE meeting content be delivered through?

    Through our new meeting platform,​ attendees will access the LIVE meeting content through Zoom. Zoom can be easily accessed on computers/laptops, smartphones, and tablets/iPads. ​ Click here to learn more about Zoom. 

    Important Note: If your organization blocks Zoom, Cereals & Grains Association recommends using a personal computer, phone, or tablet to view LIVE content from a network that is not connected to your workplace.


    Will any LIVE meeting content be recorded to watch at a later time?

    Yes, all LIVE meeting content (except networking events) will be recorded. If you were previously registered for the individual event (or for the entire series), you will be able to watch recorded sessions On Demand through the meeting platform at a time that better suits your needs.


    Will there be a mobile app?

    Yes! Our new meeting platform has both desktop and mobile functionality that all registrants will have access through. More information on our meeting platform will be shared with all registrants in the coming months.
